Giving Back

Charitable giving is a part of the tradition and vision of Odell Brewing Company. We aim to be champions of our community through innovative, thoughtful and creative philanthropy. Initially, our giving happened organically and after a decade of saying yes, our founders realized they had an opportunity to create a pillar of their business that was distinctive and beneficial to the area in which they distribute. We have since focused our giving to 3 areas:

  • Humanitarian, including:
    • Children-at-risk
    • Single parent families
    • Elderly
  • Environmental
  • Educational

A portion of all the beer we brew is dedicated to supporting the communities that give us our success. We believe engaging with nonprofits and creating opportunities for service is more than good business, it’s our responsibility to one another.  Care to join us? Volunteer with Odell Outreach!

Seasonal Partnerships

We strive to foster deep and enriching relationships with the nonprofits we support. We developed a Seasonal Partnership model to allow us to add more points of impact and engage in more opportunities with the non profits in our communities. Our Charitable Committee, made of folks from across the brewery, gather each year to choose the charities that will live in our taproom for an entire fiscal quarter. We are currently set for 2019 Charitable Partners and not accepting applications at time time. Please check back later in the year.

Winter Seasonal Charitable Partner:

Housed in the CU-Boulder School of Education and led by Bethy Leonardi, PhD, and Sara Staley, PhD, A Queer Endeavor is an initiative focused on supporting teachers and school communities around topics of gender and sexual diversity. We are working toward growing this initiative to become a sustainable center for gender and sexual diversity in education.

February Tip Jar Partners

Each month we partner with a local non profit to receive all of the tips you leave in the taproom. When you visit our taproom and leave a tip, your gift is donated to our Charity of the Month.

Fort Collins: The Geller Center

The Geller Center‘s mission is to support young adults and emerging leaders develop the foundations they need to build and strengthen communities dedicated to peace and justice.

Denver: Washington Street Community Center

For over 50 years the WSCC has provided community classes in art, exercise and education, as well as preschool and senior programs.
