Odell Brewing Company is committed to contributing to charitable programs in our serving area and to engaging our co-workers in our philanthropic efforts. Our charitable program is managed by a co-worker team that meets quarterly to choose which agencies to support. Odell Outreach is an extension of the brewery’s charitable giving program that enlists co-workers, family and friends to participate in volunteer activities throughout the community (Volunteer with Odell Outreach). Primary areas of interest for donations include:
- Humanitarian, including:
- Single parent families
We strive to foster deep and enriching relationships with the nonprofits we support. We developed a Seasonal Partnership model to allow us to add more points of impact and engage in more opportunities with the non profits in our communities. Our Charitable Committee, made of folks from across the brewery, gather each year to choose the charities that will live in our taproom for an entire fiscal quarter. To learn more, please check out our application process and find out if your organization is a good fit. We also look for monthly charities for our Charitable Tip Jar. These donations are procured through the generosity of the guests and visitors to our taproom.
Summer Charitable Partner:
From July to September we are collaborating with Poudre Wilderness Volunteers. Here’s 5 reasons why we love PWV:
- PWV is 100% volunteer run with 320 members
- They work closely with the National Wilderness Stewardship Alliance which holds their members to the highest standards.
- PWV helps to keep our backyard playground accessible and facilitates trail access.
- They make education accessible to their volunteers to be able to work hand in hand with the USFS
- They have helped to get both Young Gulch and Hewlett Gulch trails open and available to hikers in the wake of the High Park and Hewlett Gulch fires.
September Tip Jar Partners
Each month we partner with a local non profit to receive all of the tips you leave in both of our taprooms. When you visit our taproom and leave a tip, your gift is donated to our Charity of the Month.
Fort Collins: Sustainable Living Association
We have a deep rooted relationship with the Sustainable Living Association and have supported their efforts to connect people with each other and the places that we occupy. They are long standing stewards of practical preservation behavior and have helped us along our way to be better citizens of Planet Earth.
Denver: Reading Partners
We are so thrilled to work with Reading Partners, a group of volunteers and educators who provide individualized reading support to students. We have even spent some time in the classroom and have gotten to experience their life-changing work! We’ll match any gifts you leave at the end of the month up to $2,000.
Gift-in-Kind (Beer and Merchandise)
