Charitable giving is a part of the tradition and vision of Odell Brewing Company. We aim to be champions of our community through innovative, thoughtful and creative philanthropy. Initially, our giving happened organically and after a decade of saying yes, our founders realized they had an opportunity to create a pillar of their business that was distinctive and beneficial to the area in which they distribute. We have since focused our giving to 3 areas:
- Humanitarian, including:
- Single parent families
A portion of all the beer we brew is dedicated to supporting the communities that give us our success. We believe engaging with nonprofits and creating opportunities for service is more than good business, it’s our responsibility to one another. Care to join us? Volunteer with Odell Outreach!
We strive to foster deep and enriching relationships with the nonprofits we support. We developed a Seasonal Partnership model to allow us to add more points of impact and engage in more opportunities with the non profits in our communities. Our Charitable Committee, made of folks from across the brewery, gather each year to choose the charities that will live in our taproom for an entire fiscal quarter. To learn more, please check out our application process and find out if your organization is a good fit. We also look for monthly charities for our Charitable Tip Jar. These donations are procured through the generosity of the guests and visitors to our taproom.
Summer Seasonal Charitable Partner:
Rocky Mountain Flycasters is home to 900+ local members of Trout Unlimited who serve the NoCO communities of Fort Collins, Loveland, Greeley, Windsor and surrounding areas. Trout Unlimited is North America’s largest and most effective coldwaters conservation organization. Many members are fly anglers and all are conservationists concerned about the health of our regional coldwater streams and rivers and their surrounding ecosystems. Learn more about how they’re working to save the native trout population with the Poudre Headwaters project.
July Tip Jar Partners
Each month we partner with a local non profit to receive all of the tips you leave in the taproom. When you visit our taproom and leave a tip, your gift is donated to our Charity of the Month.
Fort Collins: The Gardens on Spring Creek
The Gardens on Spring Creek is the community botanic garden of Fort Collins, Colorado. The 18-acre site opened in 2004 as part of a vital public/private partnership between the City of Fort Collins and the Friends of the Gardens on Spring Creek. Our mission is to enrich the lives of people and foster environmental stewardship through horticulture. We are proud to be the sponsor of their garden tour and tasting event, Garden A’Fare on August 24th
Denver: Denver Zoo
Central to Denver Zoo’s conservation efforts is the Field Conservation Department, which has provided dedicated staff and funding to support more than 600 projects both in the wild and at the zoo since 1996. Learn more about how you can get involved.
